Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Kitchener has a great opportunity for a Production Control Administrator. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the day to day data input of Document generation, scanning, and electronic filing to support Production, Shipping, and Procurement, and general Administration duties as described herein.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Generating, printing, assembling all Shop Orders, Release Notes, Receiving Vouchers to support Production, and Customer Certificates of Compliance (C of C’s).
  • Close completed operations – at every stage – in ERP system as instructed by Operations.
  • Scanning & electronic filing of completed Shop Orders, Receiving Vouchers, and signed Release Notes.
  • Pending Inspection (PI) report generation.
  • Setting priorities for Receiving Inspection.
  • Process internal Manufacturing Order Change Request (MOCR) Shop Order paperwork.
  • Manage status of FAI (First Article Inspection) Shop Orders, and FAI Tracker updates.
  • At the design and direction of Master Scheduling/Planning, track performance against daily production targets which align with MAK’s overall KPI’s.
  • Support Final Quality Inspection for fully executed Shop Orders, Certificates of Compliance, etc. scanning & electronic filing.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts as designated by Master Scheduling/Planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, supply chain, materials management or business preferred.
  • 2 - 3 years administration experience in manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills to relay concise, clear information to others, active listening skills
  • Effective time management to organize and plan and adjust plan
  • Effective skills to motive others and to negotiate
