Blissco Cannabis Production Associate

Blissco Cannabis is the wellness brand from The Supreme Cannabis Company Inc. We are a licensed producer of cannabis products in the Langley area and we are seeking a few roles with our Production Team. If this is of interest to you and you have experience in production, cannabis or just looking to be part of an amazing team this opportunity may be for you!

This role is full time however only currently being offered as a temporary 3 month contract with a possibility of extension. The shift is day shift 8:00am - 4:30pm. Shift times can be adjusted slightly to accommodate production requirements.

Job Summary
The Production Associate is responsible for the assembly, production, packaging and labeling of multiple Company products. Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity are the main emphasis of the Production Associate.

Essential Job Functions:
• Assemble, package and label multiple Company products;
• Accurate weighing of cannabis in various increments from grams to ounces;
• Accurate placing of weighed product into proper childproof vessels or containers;
• Correctly sealing and labeling all packages;
• Visually check and verify that assembled products meet Company Quality Standards
• Follow written instructions to ensure products are assembled and packed in accordance with customer specifications;
• Maintain proper documentation throughout all operations;
• Maintain SOP productivity continuously, as per the standard
• Follow directions by Lead, Coordinator, or Management regarding performance, attitude, attendance and general productivity;
• Ability to complete accurate data entry and documentation

• Comply with all provincial OH&S regulations and company safety policies;

• Comply with all Quality Assurance requirements and policies

Additional Responsibilities:
• Maintain safe & clean work environment
• Step in when other tasks need to be completed
• Work overtime when required
• Follow directions from Production Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance Manager

Experience and Education:
• 19 years old +
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in assembly, packaging or production/manufacturing facility

Skills and Attributes
• Great communication skills;
• Flexibility needed in daily activities such as helping other departments;
• Ability to read and interpret written and oral instructions
• Able to find gaps in internal processes/procedures and ability to problem solve
• Ability to perform tasks to meet or exceed quality and production requirements
• Detail oriented with good math skills
• Positive team-oriented employee
