Our client is a leading innovator and manufacturer of chemicals and ingredients that are used to produce items we use every day: shampoos, conditioners, body washes, laundry detergents, face creams, lotions, exfoliants, etc. We are looking to hire a new Product Marketing Coordinator with at least 2 years of experience supporting B2B marketing efforts and working with technical products. This job is a hybrid job with a few days per week working from the office in Philadelphia and the balance from home. The Product Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of marketing strategies for innovative ingredients used in beauty applications. This role bridges the gap between R&D, sales, and marketing, ensuring that product messaging, positioning, and go-to-market plans align with customer needs and industry trends. They will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies for product launches, communication materials, and strategic activities and projects. They will collaborate with various departments within the company to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities for one or more product/category lines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field, or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field is preferred
  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing efforts and working with technical products
  • Knowledge of cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) is preferred
  • Understanding of current OSHA Safety practices & procedures is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-friendly language.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as CRM systems, email platforms, and design software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with ingredient manufacturing and B2B market is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks and challenges
  • Proficient technology skills including Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
