- Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the product vision and strategy, aligning it with business objectives and market demands. Regularly review and adjust product strategy to ensure it supports overall business goals and priorities.
- Guide Product Development: Lead product development from discovery through building and implementation. Define the product vision and strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
- Facilitate Collaboration: Collaborate with designers and engineers to identify problems and ideate solutions. Foster a culture of open communication and teamwork, ensuring that all voices are heard and considered in the decision-making process.strategy to ensure it supports overall business goals and priorities.
- Understand User Needs: Gather necessary data to stay informed about our clients’ and our users’ needs and wants. Participate in user research, surveys, and direct client interactions to collect feedback and insights. Continuously monitor user behavior and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage Product Backlog: Prioritize user problems over specific solutions and manage the product backlog effectively across all products. Ensure that the most critical issues are addressed first and that the backlog is continuously updated based on changing priorities and new information.
- Develop Product Requirements: Work with the technical leads and product managers to develop product requirements documentation. Ensure that requirements are clear, concise, and actionable. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Work with other stakeholders to ensure alignment around product problems and solutions. Facilitate regular meetings and updates with key stakeholders, including executives and the sales team, to keep them informed of progress and gather feedback.
- Improve Processes: Collaborate with engineering leadership to improve product development processes. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Product Leadership: Extensive experience building and leading high-performing product teams that own consumer-facing products.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in product leadership within the healthcare staffing or recruiting industry.
- Customer Focus: Enjoy getting to know customers and developing solutions for their problems.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in building and leading high-performing product teams.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends, user feedback, and product performance metrics.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of product integration processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
