• Experience: Candidate could come from various backgrounds (product management, sales engineering, or applications engineering). Sales exposure is important, but the role is not purely sales-focused.
• Skills: Strong background in hydraulics, distribution experience, customer/vendor balance, and leadership in motivating sales teams (without direct responsibility).
