Product Manager – Mission-Driven Forensic Tech

Our client is building critical infrastructure to support a new era of forensic investigations. They’ve become a leader in forensic sequencing and are now expanding beyond lab services—delivering software platforms, deployable hardware, and forensic workflows to agencies nationwide.

Role Overview:
The Product Manager will help define and scale the product function during a critical growth phase. You’ll manage a portfolio that spans lab services, software applications, and field-ready systems. This role is highly cross-functional, working with science, engineering, ops, and sales to bring impactful forensic tools to the broader public safety community.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Lead the full product lifecycle across a diverse product portfolio

  2. Build and refine scalable, repeatable product development processes

  3. Collaborate cross-functionally and align teams around clear goals

  4. Drive execution while communicating progress and tradeoffs to leadership

  5. Recommend tools and systems to support product operations

What They’re Looking For:
Must-Have:

  • 5–10 years in product management, especially with complex/technical products

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and execution skills

  • Experience designing scalable workflows

  • Background in science, forensics, or technical product delivery

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in forensic, government, or life sciences markets

  • Exposure to software, lab services, or deployable hardware

  • Familiarity with PM tools
