Position Responsibilities:

Data Platform Strategy & Execution

• Collaborate with VP of Product and Engineering to define and implement product strategy for data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Work with engineering, data architects, and infrastructure teams to develop and optimize data pipelines, storage, and processing frameworks.
• Prioritize data integration, accessibility, and performance to support business intelligence and analytics efforts.

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT workflows, and data ingestion.
• Align infrastructure investments with business priorities through collaboration with reporting, analytics, and AI teams.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements in data technologies, governance tools, and architecture to enhance performance.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

• Serve as a liaison between technical and business teams, translating data infrastructure needs into product requirements.
• Communicate roadmap updates and technical priorities to leadership and engineering teams.
• Create clear documentation and technical specifications for data infrastructure capabilities.

Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of product management experience ideally focused on data platforms, infrastructure, or cloud-based data solutions.
• Experience working with large-scale data systems, data lake architectures, and distributed data processing.
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and scalable data storage solutions.
• Ability to engage with engineering teams and data architects to make informed technical decisions.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define and track key infrastructure performance metrics.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related technical field.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise-scale data platforms, data governance, and data security best practices.
• Familiarity with modern data lake and warehouse architecture.
• Knowledge of data observability and performance monitoring tools.
