The Product Manager - Canada is responsible for being the product SME and the technical expert for
You Will…
- Demonstrate technology competence and Haemostasis and Thrombosis knowledge.
- Manage the 4 P’s of Marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) as well as product lifecycle for assigned products.
- Analyze, build and maintain a competitive file/database, develop and communicate “how to sell against the competition”.
- Manager all projects within budget and deliver “on time”.
- Displays or demonstrates product, using all available and supported tools and emphasizes salable features.
- Meets company assigned individual sales goals.
- Generates and maintains list of prospective customers for instrument sales leads.
- Generates and maintains an accurate 30-60-90 day sales funnel of prospective customers for instrument sales leads.
- Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
- Investigates and resolves customer problems and deliveries.
- Attends trade shows, user groups and symposia.
- Estimates dates of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedules.
- Travel as required to meet with customers, demonstrate products, set up beta sites, work at trade shows / conferences and stay in tune with the market (75%)
- Manage the 4 P’s of Marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) as well as product lifecycle for assigned products.
You Have…
- Post-secondary education (from a recognized educational institution), preferably in Science and/ or Certified Lab Technologist certification.
- 5+ years experience working in a laboratory setting plus experience in either marketing or sales preferably in the capital medical equipment/ coagulation sector.
- Experience working with premium priced products.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence; strong business analysis skills. Bilingual in English and French.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- A proactive team player, possessing solid technical knowledge and related market / product experiences.
- Ability to work under pressure and severe time constraints, within rapidly changing markets and work environment.
