Product Engineering Manager - Actuators

Responsibilities

The Product Engineering Manager – Actuators is responsible for leading the design, development, and strategic direction of the actuator product lines, from concept to production:

• Lead new product design and development activities for actuator systems
• Define and drive the technical roadmap for actuator product lines
• Manage VA/VE initiatives and supplier resourcing pipelines
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for all actuator-related matters
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders alongside Program Management
• Support new business quoting efforts and product benchmarking
• Up to 25% international and domestic travel as required
• Other duties as assigned

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
• 8+ years of product development engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Proficient in DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, DFA tools, and new product development processes
• Demonstrated experience with APQP and implementing design engineering changes
