PRODUCT ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: Receive, check, coordinate and prepare all approval submittals for materials required per the contract, drawings & specifications for assigned projects in accordance with the schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ongoing continuing education work in mechanical / industrial engineering.

2. Licensing/Registration/Certification: Preferred: AHC or P.E.

3. Experience:

Required: 2 years Construction Engineering

Preferred: 4 years Construction Engineering

4. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret blue prints and specifications, communication skills: verbal and written, working knowledge of construction and detention equipment, presentation skills, time management skills, organizational skills, goal oriented

5. Advanced computer skills: Internet, word processing, spreadsheets, auto cad or similar

program, interpersonal skills, procurement processes, submittal preparation.
