Our client is an established manufacturer specializing in cooling solutions for a variety of industries (renewable energy, medical device, aerospace included) and applications including extreme temperatures and conditions. Recent expansion resulted in the addition of a proactive, results-driven professional to join the Engineering team as a Product Development Engineer to assist with new business development, product innovation, and technical documentation oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead conceptual design and development of next-generation products
• Review customer specifications and industry standards for compliance
• Validate drawing packages, manufacturing approaches, GD&T, and cost analysis
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
• Provide product lifecycle engineering support
• Develop manufacturing processes including tooling, routing, and work instructions
• Design machining, brazing, welding, and testing fixtures
• Ensure timely product launches through documentation release and production support
• Analyze inspection data (CMM, test results) and process ECNs/DMRs/MRB requests
• Conduct failure analyses and implement corrective actions
• Develop cost estimates for new product quotations
• Lead cost reduction initiatives and process improvements
• Guide cross-functional project teams and R&D efforts
• Mentor engineering staff and designers

Essential Qualifications:

• 6+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with hands-on new product introduction, design, and production background
• Direct expertise in machining operations with welding or brazing a bonus
• Proven leadership working on a project and on teams
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
