Our client, located in the Charlotte, NC area, has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience with Pressure Washers and Generators.

Responsibilities:
Initiate and develop design concepts to meet cost objectives, schedule, quality and feature requirements
Designs and creates drawings and 3D CAD parts
Evaluates existing and new designs for compliance to internal and external standards
Responsible for Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly and Design for Maintainability
Interface with vendors and suppliers to anchor designs
Cross-functional coordination with counterparts in other departments and/or suppliers to facilitate and meet project time plans

Requirements:

Experience :

Minimum BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
2-5 years' experience in Product Design Engineering
Experience with portable generators
