My client is an established engineering and manufacturing organization that designs and manufactures highly engineered equipment for industrial and laboratory applications. They are seeking a Product Compliance & Regulatory Engineer to assume responsibility for an established global product compliance program as part of a planned succession initiative.

What You'll Do
- Lead product compliance and certification activities for new and existing products.
- Guide engineering teams through product safety and regulatory requirements during product development.
- Coordinate certification projects with organizations including UL, CSA, ETL, TUV and CE.
- Support compliance initiatives involving RoHS, REACH, EMC, EPA and other domestic and international regulatory requirements.
- Interpret evolving regulatory standards and communicate compliance requirements throughout the organization.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, certification records and compliance reports.
- Support product testing, audits, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, suppliers and third-party certification agencies.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred. Mechanical Engineering backgrounds with applicable experience will also be considered.
- 3+ years of product compliance, regulatory engineering, product safety, certification or related engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of UL, CE, RoHS, REACH, EMC, CSA, ETL, TUV or similar regulatory standards.
- Experience supporting engineering teams through certification, testing and regulatory approvals.
- Strong project management, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Manufacturing or engineered products experience preferred.
- Refrigeration or electromechanical product experience is a plus.
