Renee, unfortunately, I don’t really have notes for the Commercial Lines Producers. I’ve worked with them so long, I haven’t taken in-depth notes.
I can say the benefits include 100% paid health insurance for the associate, 401K with match, dental insurance, life & disability, PTO and teambuilding events. Those events are a couple of times throughout the year, and the company will bring them into St. Louis.
While the base may seem low, there is a high earning potential. Not to blue-sky but I would say in the $250K range once they’ve been doing this for 7-10 years.
The company's #1 choice would be someone that is licensed in Property and Casualty and has commercial insurance experience. Generally, a person who has been an account manager or account executive isn’t interested in “outside sales”, but…if they want to move up this might be the route.
One person non-experienced they really liked who was a total go getter (got his license before getting a job) but started pulling some shenanigans is Ross Van Bree What a super personable person, great at following up, but started pulling stuff during the interview process.
