The Senior Procurement Officer will be responsible for:

• Reviewing proposed procurement and contracting requirements for both IT and non-IT professional services and providing advice/feedback to Business Owners (clients).

• Collaborating with clients to identify accessibility needs and reflect them in procurement planning and evaluation.

• Issuing sole source and competitive contracts using various methods of supply.

• Preparing complex bid solicitation documents including Request for Proposals (RFP), using PSPC procurement vehicles: TBIPS, TSPS, PASS, ProServices etc.

• Reviewing Statements of Work (SOW) and Evaluation Criteria for completeness and adherence to procurement regulations and providing feedback for improvements to these documents.

• Leading consensus meetings with technical evaluation committees and evaluating financial proposals to recommend award of contract.

• Assisting with the development of procurement policies, processes and procedures

• Providing updates and advice to management regarding potential contracting issues.

The majority of the work may be performed remotely. However, it would be preferable for the resource to work 2 days per week at our physical location: 125 Zaida Eddy Private, Ottawa, ON.
