Our client in the Industrial Sector is seeking to onboard a Procurement Officer to support procurement activities across the Group.

Location: Cayman Islands (Hybrid)

To engage a professional who a customer-centric and analytical professional to ensure efficient procurement operations, vendor management, and compliance with organizational standards.

Job Summary:

The Procurement Officer will offer support to the Procurement related activities across the Group

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure timely payments to suppliers and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update the procurement database, ensuring all vendor information, purchase records and other related procurement matters are current.
  • Organize and file procurement documents, such as contracts and purchase orders, for audit and regulatory compliance

Job Qualifications / Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Administration or related field, with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

OR

  • Three (3) A’ Level passes including Business or a Diploma / Associate’s Degree in Business / Administration with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.


Job Skills, Competencies and Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain systems, customer service processes and related business modules would be an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Passion for excellence and a proactive, solution-driven attitude.
  • Knowledge and experience of working in the Paint industry would be an asset.
  • Open to learning and innovation with a growth mindset.
  • Enthusiastic, with a readiness to champion best practices to meet challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective with communication skills, able to collaborate in small groups, able to keep abreast with multiple communication topics.
  • Understanding business flow processes and able to follow them
  • Industry experience in Paint Industry and knowledge of Sage Intacct / Sage 300 (asset).
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation and requirements (asset).
