GRC Executive is conducting a search on behalf of a client seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support critical procurement operations. This role will focus on invoice reconciliation, vendor data analysis, and uncovering cost-saving opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
About the Role:
This Procurement Analyst will play a vital role in supporting the client’s procurement and finance functions. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, possess deep knowledge of procurement processes, and have a strong command of Excel and enterprise systems. This is a hands-on, data-intensive role ideal for someone who thrives in the details and can surface strategic insights from financial data.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct line-by-line invoice reviews to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues.

Analyze vendor contracts and pricing to uncover cost-savings opportunities.

Develop and deliver clear, data-driven reports and recommendations to stakeholders.

Identify trends in vendor spend, potential duplicate charges, and non-compliant terms.

Leverage ERP and BI tools to extract, validate, and analyze large datasets.

Support leadership with accurate, actionable data in procurement decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Invoice & Reconciliation Expertise: Experience managing high volumes of invoices with precision.

Procurement Knowledge: Understanding of vendor terms, pricing strategies, and sourcing levers.

Analytical Skills: Ability to identify patterns and inefficiencies in spend data.

Excel Mastery: Advanced knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data validation.

Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Coupa, NetSuite) and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau).

Attention to Detail: Accuracy is critical, especially in reconciliation and reporting.

Communication: Strong ability to convey insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
Experience:

5+ years of experience in procurement, finance, or operations with a focus on vendor management and spend analysis.

Background in consulting, shared services, or internal procurement environments is a plus.
