About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a privately held packaging manufacturer investing in growth, stronger processes, and long-term operational success across three manufacturing sites.
This is a newly created role focused on building and standardizing project management across the business. The position will support new product development, facility improvements, equipment installation, and continuous improvement initiatives. It’s an excellent fit for someone who brings structure, accountability, and strong cross-functional leadership in a manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do

Define project scope, goals, timelines, deliverables, and success measures.

Build and manage project plans, including resources and budgets.

Track project health through dashboards, meetings, action registers, and KPIs.

Lead cross-functional teams made up of engineers, department leaders, and stakeholders.

Oversee equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations.

Support qualification activities for products and equipment through standardized processes.

Partner with operations on production ramp-up efforts.

Help develop a Stage Gate process for New Product Development.

Create and standardize project management processes across the organization.

Preferred Experience & Attributes

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar technical field.

5–7 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong project planning skills, including MS Project and MS Office.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Able to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.

Power BI and statistical analysis experience are a plus.

Injection molding, paper converting, or printing experience is beneficial.

PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
