Process Technician - Injection Molding

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Support and supervise operators
Create optimized stuff schedules of the workforce needed
Setting up injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
Ensure that mold changes are done correctly and in a timely manner
Verify that the correct material is used for each job running
Make sure quality parts are produced
Adjust molding parameters on injection molding machines to assure continuous and quality production
Review molded parts for part quality issues and arrange necessary adjustments / repairs to assure quality parts
Must respond to issues as they arise, but also identify areas in which to assure better performance on productivity including preventive maintenance and process documentation
Organize production changeovers
Assure work areas are clean and organized

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience in supervising operators and assuring better performance on productivity and quality required
Completed vocational training as industrial processing mechanic for plastics technology
Task related technical knowledge (injection molding, machine technology, industrial processing and peripheral equipment)
High school diploma or G.E.D., technical certification preferred
3-5 years experience with processes preferred
