Primary Function
Set up the automation of manufacturing processes. The processes
govern the production and delivery of extruded products. The aim is to streamline
the manufacturing process and make it as efficient as possible while
maintaining product quality and adhering to internal protocols and
external regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES

 Solid understanding of computer programming and software development
 Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests
 Creative thinking skills
 Detail-oriented personality
 Excellent manual dexterity
 Ability to communicate well to other members of the development team
 Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
 Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
 Ability to follow safety procedures with instructions
 Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Office
 Understand multiple manufacturing processes and select appropriate
instruments to monitor and control the necessary variables.
 Develop and design concepts
 Choose and program a controller
 Choose and program a controller and ensure proper communication
between actuators connected to the controller
 Simulate, install, test, and manage electrical or mechanical automation
 Monitor automation processes on an ongoing basis
 Promotes and works in a team-oriented environment. Seeks input from
others.
 Assures a safety-first attitude which includes all facility safety work
instructions and maintenance, good housekeeping of areas where work is
performed, and in all maintenance areas
