Process Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- The Process / Production Engineer will provide process oversight for multiple production operations.
- Recommend and lead facilities, procedural and process improvements to maintain and improve production quality, safety, cost and efficiency in line with the Continuous Improvement philosophy.
- Monitor and analyze daily production for assigned areas. Analyze data generated by the laboratories and identify trends. Recognizes potential production problems, investigates and recommends solutions to correct them.
- Lead role on projects or other teams for expansions or improvements as a technical resource/expert.
- Mentor junior Process and Project engineers and serve as a technology expert.
- Lead quality investigations and forms a team with appropriate internal representatives from Engineering, Quality and Production. Tracks progress of investigation (RCA), and ensures appropriate actions are taken to correct deficiencies.
- Relocation provided. $90K-$115K.
Requirements
- The Process / Production Engineer will have a BS Engineering degree with 3+ years experience in Process/ Manufacturing Engineering in fiber, composite, polymer or chemical process manufacturing plant sites.
- Demonstrated technical process support ability.
- Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of advanced process control systems and methodologies.
- North Carolina residents preferred.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
