Our client, an independent oil company with refining, pipeline, trucking, and retail operations in the US & Canada, is seeking an experienced Process Engineer in its northwestern Pennsylvania oil refinery.

About the Position: You will fulfill a key technical role by defining, designing, installing, and monitoring the process equipment necessary for safe & efficient operation of the processing, storage, and distribution facilities. This includes assisting Operations with troubleshooting problems and optimizing day to day unit performance.

Your primary focus will be on preparing process design packages to advance and improve the processing units and related facilities, which may include heat exchangers, distillation towers, vessels, pumps, tanks, and new piping solutions.

Enjoy innovating and want to expand your skills set? You'll also have the opportunity to develop process simulations of refinery units & equipment using Aspen software (HYSYS and Heat Exchanger Design), assist with unit startups and shutdowns, and manage & oversee catalyst loading.
