Our client, an independent oil company with refining, pipeline, trucking, and retail operations in the US & Canada, is seeking an experienced Process Control Engineer in its northwestern Pennsylvania oil refinery.

About the Position: In this key role, you will design instrumentation, electrical, and process control & automation systems (both new and enhancements) to optimize refinery product quality and efficiency.

This includes assisting Process Engineers in developing I&CS conceptual designs, participating in HAZOP and safety system reviews, and assisting other departments (Operations, Maintenance, Environmental) in diagnosing and resolving problems and issues.

You will also help develop the control system programming configurations and operator graphics, oversee I&E installation contractors, and lead the process control and automation portions of capital projects.
