A 6-12 month contract position for a Process Automation System (PAS) Engineer is available based within the Kingsport, TN area. Using your expertise, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of automation projects and be working on-site to support the customer.

In this role, your responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensure delivery of projects
• Project execution - take ownership of engineering activities (DCS Design, configuration, testing, commissioning and start-up on all allocated deliverables and proactively utilize methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing cost while maintain customer satisfaction.
• Interpret technical documents, requirements and design specifications used in executing the project.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science plus 5-10 years of experience with process control.
• Advanced knowledge of DeltaV DCS System, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
• Experience working with both software and hardware.
• DeltaV Live experience, graphics and configuration
• Experience in an industrial automation project delivery environment including field support.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed documentation, including control system designs, technical specification, and project reports
• Strong understanding of process controls and experience implementing and optimizing control strategies.
