Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 9.00am – 6.00pm – flexibility required out of hours
Location: Dubai, UAE – office based in DIFC five days a week
Salary: AED25K – AED35K DOE

Marcilly Recruitment’s client, the founder & CEO of an international private equity firm, is seeking an experienced and proactive Private PA to work as part of a team (Chief of Staff & Travelling PA), being based here in Dubai where the family relocated to last year.
The family have multiple residences internationally, with a House Manager in each who runs the day to day property, staff, budgeting etc.
The successful Private PA must be based in the UAE already or have prior experience working as a Private PA within the region. An excellent black book of contacts is a must to enable the successful Private PA in sourcing sold out items or book popular restaurants etc. A PA who has a natural interest in what is going on in the City would be great for this position!
We are seeking a Private PA who is very proactive, two steps ahead and thinks outside of the box. The principal works at a very fast pace and a 24/7, founder mindset, so he needs someone who is responsive to messages out of hours.
The core purpose of the Private PA is to provide support for the CEO and Founder in his private life, and assisting in a business context, as required. This will involve liaison with the wife.
Private PA Duties and Responsibilities
- Diary: Schedule and plan ahead of various personal engagements, working alongside with household and business staff. Ensure smooth running of the day.
- Travel: Book flights, both commercial and charter. Arrange ground transportation to and from the airport, or otherwise. Manage frequent flyer and loyalty programs. Create holiday itineraries, hotel reservations - booking hotels using appropriate booking platforms and contacts. Seek best value options.
- Activities Research and book holiday and other spare time activities. Liaise with lifestyle consultants and destination management companies, extracting value for money.
- Research: Proactively follow the luxury leisure market and identify suitable options for dining and holiday destinations. Investigate children's activities and as advised, book and diarise appointments.
- Events planning: arrange various private events as requested, search venues, negotiate and execute contracts, liaise with parties regarding catering and food options, arrange logistics, send invitations and liaise with guests. Assist in arranging family birthday and other celebrations as required. Find venues for corporate events and assist the corporate EA team in planning. Attend events as required.
- Liaise with household staff: work as part of the wider household team and ensure everyone is fully informed. Recruit or assist in recruitment of any vacancies in the household.
- Finance Management: keep strict records, cost as advised, against budgets if necessary. Ensure prompt payment of invoices.
- See to ad hoc requests 24/7.
- Travel with the principal as required.
Private PA Skills and Competencies:
- Be eligible to work in the UAE with a valid passport
- Be fluent in the English Language, perfect grammar, spoken and written
- Have excellent contactable references
- 5 years + as a PA / EA, with some experience on the personal side – this can be in a combined business and personal, it does not have to be someone who has worked solely in a private household before. Experience in working in a large corporate environment, preferably in finance sector is desirable
- They are seeking a PA who is already based on the ground living in Dubai or someone who has experience in the UAE in a similar role
- Have a clean driving licence and the ability to drive in the UAE
- MS Office – Outlook, Word and Excel Previous experience in supporting HNWIs, or similar role, in their private and business lives Excellent knowledge of luxury and high-end hospitality sector
