Job Title: Private Lending – Loan Servicer

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Private Lending Servicer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of financial transactions, and a commitment to providing high-level customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for managing private lending accounts, ensuring payments are processed accurately, resolving borrower inquiries, and supporting all aspects of the loan servicing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loan Servicing: Manage a portfolio of private loans, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, disbursements, and loan modifications.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, addressing inquiries, providing account information, and resolving issues related to loan servicing.
  • Payment Management: Monitor payment schedules, ensure proper allocation of funds, and follow up on overdue payments. Work with borrowers to resolve any payment-related issues.
  • Account Management: Ensure that all loan details (interest rates, payment schedules, terms, etc.) are accurately maintained in the servicing system.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for all loan transactions. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Reporting & Reconciliation: Generate and review loan reports to monitor performance, identify discrepancies, and resolve any issues. Reconcile accounts and report on loan status.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to loan servicing, including payment defaults or delinquency, and work proactively to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with underwriting, collections, and legal teams to resolve complex loan servicing issues or disputes.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in loan servicing, mortgage servicing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of private lending products and financial processes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage customer relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in private lending.
  • Proficient in loan servicing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with servicing private loans, real estate loans, or alternative lending.
  • Familiarity with loan servicing platforms and software tools.
