Job Description
Client Summary:
  • Operates as a national advisory and consulting organization focused on healthcare systems and policy.
  • Works with a broad range of public- and private-sector stakeholders.
  • Provides research, strategic guidance, and technical expertise on complex healthcare challenges.
  • Supports decision-making across programs, operations, and policy initiatives.
  • Maintains a distributed presence to serve clients across the United States.
Position Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Drive business development with existing and new clients to expand funded work.
  • Build and maintain a forward-looking pipeline aligned to business development goals.
  • Lead and contribute to proposal development and submissions.

Client Management

  • Partner with clients to understand requirements and objectives.
  • Analyze data and insights to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Present findings and deliver recommendations, implementation plans, and high-quality work products.
  • Continuously assess client needs and adjust approach as necessary.

Project Management

  • Serve as a subject matter expert across assigned projects.
  • Lead internal and external projects of varying scope and duration.
  • Develop tools, frameworks, analyses, dashboards, and roadmaps to support project execution.

Leadership

  • Lead and manage teams, providing feedback, development, and support for internal initiatives.
  • Mentor staff members as requested.

Performance & Accountability

  • Meet or exceed expectations for business development, billable hours, and project budgets.
  • Ensure quality and operational standards are met.
  • Complete required timesheets, expense reports, forecasts, training, and internal activities in a timely manner.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Public Health, or a related discipline is required. Equivalent work experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, although not desired, may be determined as acceptable.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressively increasing prior leadership or management experience in work involving publicly funded healthcare including, but not limited to policy, administration, operations, compliance, research, consulting, and/or evaluation.


Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • A Master’s degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred.

Compensation $180k-$250k, Health Insurance, 401k, Paid Vacation
