We are seeking dedicated Family or Internal Medicine Physicians to join our full-time outpatient practices across the scenic Finger Lakes Region of New York. This role offers a direct hire opportunity, designed for physicians eager to be involved in community medicine and who are passionate about providing primary care within a supportive and collaborative environment. Your main focus will be on delivering comprehensive patient care, managing overall patient wellness and preventive care, and ensuring high-quality medical service. Light call duties, competitive compensation package, including sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, loan repayment options, and other excellent benefits make this position desirable.
Salary: $225,000 - $300,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide full scope of primary care services including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance to a dedicated patient population.
- Communicate effectively with patients and family members, delivering compassionate care.
- Participate in shared light call phone coverage with other system practices to provide patient support after hours.
- Maintain a strong focus on patient-centered approach in all clinic operational aspects.
- Utilize EHR to accurately document patient care and coordinate with multidisciplinary team members.
- Stay current with medical technologies and best practices in outpatient medicine.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited School of Medicine or Osteopathy.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Eligible for state and federal licensure and must be obtained before starting.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a broad range of clinical issues.
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in community health or outpatient settings.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work autonomously or in a team.
- Experience with MS Office and clinic operational systems.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with the healthcare landscape of the Finger Lakes Region is an advantage.
