We are seeking highly skilled, compassionate, and dedicated Physician Assistants to join our dynamic primary care teams located in the scenic Finger Lakes region of New York. Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care and detailed assessments in a primary care setting.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.
- Instruct and counsel patients on compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens.
- Perform physical exams, order and interpret tests, and make diagnoses to ensure optimal patient health.
- Collaborate with primary care teams to provide services, including preventive health education and counseling.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Board Certified Physician Assistant.
- Valid New York State License.
- Prior experience in primary care, emergency care or related field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in rural health or similar settings.
- Strong knowledge of primary healthcare principles and practices.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Proven record of punctuality and reliability in previous roles.
