Primary Care Physician - Sonoma

Salary: $230,000 - $280,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to a diverse patient group including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
  • Implement and manage health plans, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results for various patient demographics.
  • Perform routine check-ups, vaccinations, and screenings for a range of health conditions.
  • Conduct procedures including splinting, employment physicals, and disability/workers' compensation exams.
  • Interpret EKGs and X-rays to diagnose health issues accurately.
  • Engage in continuous education and stay abreast of cutting-edge medical procedures and developments.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution and board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Valid state medical license and at least 2 years of professional experience in a primary care setting.
  • Proven ability to manage a variety of medical procedures applicable across diverse patient demographics.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to support patient understanding of complex medical concepts.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team within an outpatient setting.
  • Comfort and proficiency in EKG and X-ray interpretation.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to oversee clinic operations or junior staff when necessary.
  • Experience in geriatric care and pediatric medicine.
  • Engagement with local community health initiatives.
  • Interest or background in medical research applicable to primary care.
