What you will be doing:

As the Business Development Executive (Detroit), you'll drive sales on all vital consulting pursuits and will be expected to exhibit superior thought leadership throughout the sales life cycle. You will be experienced in establishing and growing accounts through solid account management practices. You must understand and embody the importance of trust in a client relationship. It would help if you had a proven ability to build long-term relationships.

The ideal candidate will have meaningful existing business relationships with senior leaders within the Southeastern Michigan area.

In this role, you will:

  • Build and maintain robust sales pipelines for IT Solution opportunities, prepare and facilitate presentations/RFIs RFPs – need to be able to manage and champion direct sales efforts and sales enablement across the
  • Be a strategic relationship builder within the Southeastern Michigan area. Enjoy lasting building relationships with clients, so we are looking for someone who enjoys building meaningful, long-lasting relationships.

You should have:

  • Extensive overall sales experience Proven history of success in selling in Detroit Marketplace, selling IT Services, creating a positive culture by cultivating new opportunities, and successfully delivering engagements. , monitoring customers' experience, and driving thought leadership.
  • A passion for building a thriving business, self-initiative, self-motivation, and entrepreneurship helps you generate and grow new account relationships and grow them with our
  • Proven experience selling consulting /technology/project management. or similar technical services. Experience selling project-based consulting services preferred.
  • Inventiveness and drive meet to create a powerful combination for business success. Possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, the possibilities are limitless when crafting and achieving goals.
  • An established Detroit executive network is a must, as well as developing and cultivating lasting relationships with key stakeholders. Presentation experience delivering to C-Suite client
  • Demonstrated skills in client-centric and business development roles, with a demonstrated ability to excel across multiple settings.
  • Skilled at providing key insights into developing effective strategies for organizations. Demonstrated leadership presence.
  • A strong and established network of existing Detroit-based executive relationships and a demonstrated record of creating and maintaining strong ongoing relationships.

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree – 4-year Information Technology or Computer Science degree is strongly preferred
  • Must have an active network of C-level contacts
  • 10+ years of sales experience in professional services organization, managing complex projects and fostering positive client relationships. Experience building a growing business and acquiring new accounts. (bringing those new logos)
  • Must have accomplished extensive sales and business development selling IT Project Solutions, including responsibility to develop and maintain client relationships and manage multiple and simultaneous complex work streams or engagements.
