JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, contributes to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of client systems and assists in the development of new features.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with an Agile team to design, develop, and test a suite of reports to collect insights for decision-making.
Build and maintain Power BI reports using various data sources including SQL Server, Excel, and DAX queries.
Develop and maintain integrations between a data warehouse and various ALM systems such as Azure DevOps (ADO), TFS, and JIRA using a combination of REST API’s and direct queries including but not limited to PostgreSQL.
Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and other objects in a sophisticated data warehouse & relational database environment.
Create and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Performance tuning of Power BI reports
Collaborate with customers to create an outstanding product that provides insights for decision-making.
Document code and requirements in a simple and sufficient approach.
Diagnose and resolve complex data, system, and software issues in the production environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree and 5 plus years of relevant experience
5 plus years of MS SQL Server schemas, queries, stored procedures, and SSIS experience
5 plus years of Power BI experience with expertise in using advance level calculations on the dataset
5 plus years of Microsoft .NET experience
Knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL and API Development would be a plus
Working knowledge of standard DevOps practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to Agile COE customers and stakeholders
Strong desire to work in a collaborative, team environment, preferably an Agile team
Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to less technically experienced colleagues
An additional requirement for this role is the ability to comply with COVID-19 health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination proof and/or rigorous testing.
