Power & Recovery Area Leader

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Power & Recovery Area Leader to provide leadership and direction for daily operations within the department.

The ideal candidate will have pulp or paper industry or industrial utilities experience, expertise developing staff and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization including senior management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or 4+ years of experience working in the pulp and paper industry or industrial utilities
• 3+ years of leadership experience working in an industrial utility environment
• Must be technically sound with causticizing and recovery
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience developing and implementing improvement processes and projects
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekend duty

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering
• 5+ years of supervision and leadership experience in an operating department
• 10+ years of experience within an industrial utility setting
• Experience working in a Process Safety Management (PSM) covered facility
• Experience developing and implementing transformative organizational designs and work processes
• Experience with Microsoft project, CMMS, and PI
• Process control experience
• Product stewardship and quality systems experience
