Overview
We are a well-established general contractor specializing in hotel and motel construction across Western Ohio, Central Ohio, Eastern Indiana, and Northern Kentucky. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and a reputation built on repeat clients and referrals, we also provide millwrighting services and design and fabrication of fall protection systems. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee daily operations on our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities

Site Management: Oversee all on-site construction activities, coordinating multiple trades and crews to ensure seamless project execution.

Schedule Adherence: Monitor and enforce project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met while addressing any delays promptly.

Quality Control: Ensure all work complies with project plans, specifications, and industry standards, maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

Team Supervision: Manage and direct foremen and subcontractors, fostering effective communication and resolving conflicts as needed.

Logistics Coordination: Oversee material deliveries, equipment usage, and site logistics to maintain efficient operations.

Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions to the construction manager or project manager.

Client Interaction: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.
Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in commercial or hospitality projects.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in construction management or related field is a plus.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under tight deadlines.

Certifications: OSHA 30 certification preferred; other relevant safety or construction certifications are a plus.

Working Conditions

Primarily field-based, working on active construction sites with exposure to outdoor conditions.

Requires frequent walking, standing, and occasional lifting or climbing.

May involve extended hours or weekend work to meet project deadlines.

Travel within Western Ohio, Central Ohio, Eastern Indiana, and Northern Kentucky may be required.
