Plumbing Designer

We are seeking a Plumbing Designer to join our engineering team. This role is responsible for designing plumbing systems for a variety of industrial, commercial, and healthcare facilities using AutoCAD and Revit. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to develop accurate construction documents and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

This is a permanent, direct-hire position.

Responsibilities:

• Design plumbing and piping systems for industrial, commercial, and healthcare projects.
• Develop detailed drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Perform plumbing system layouts, equipment sizing, and coordination with other building systems.
• Ensure designs comply with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders throughout the design process.
• Review project specifications and incorporate design requirements into plans.

Qualifications:

• Experience designing plumbing systems for industrial, commercial, or healthcare facilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Design, or a related field preferred.

Preferred:

• Experience with healthcare facility design.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project environments.
