Plumbing Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Plumbing Designer to join a growing engineering team in the Tucker, GA area.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and designing plumbing systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, proficiency with CAD software, and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed plumbing system designs using advanced CAD tools such as Revit/BIM, and AutoCAD.
• Create schematics, system layouts, and construction documents aligned with project specifications and industry standards.
• Utilize technical knowledge of ASME codes & standards to ensure all designs are compliant with safety and quality regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate plumbing systems within larger building or infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in CAD software, including Revit/BIM and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles related to plumbing systems and system design.
• Experience with schematics creation, drafting, system layout development, and mechanical design documentation.
• Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with construction processes and technical writing for documentation purposes.
• An engineering degree is preferred unless experienced
