Responsibilities
- Responsible for administration of projects in Oracle Project Accounting and related
- Development of project cost and schedule.
- Administration of all aspects of project execution including, but not limited to: design, specification, contracts, purchasing, installation, and commissioning.
- Control and report project schedule and cost to management.
- Maintain technical documentation (i.e., organize drawings and results).
- Support plant operations by implementing critical improvement projects and coordinating with all departments within the plant.
- Be an active actor of the Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process.
- Provide technical support to maintenance activities, contributing to equipment reliability and availability.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance teams, demonstrating strong knowledge of maintenance practices and plant equipment.
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation to support maintenance needs and ensure operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- At least five (5) years of experience in mechanical/electrical project engineering in the cement or related industry.
- Familiarity with operational aspects and equipment utilized in the cement industry (or heavy industry)
- Working knowledge of maintenance processes, reliability principles, and plant equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter and inquisitive by nature.
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
- Skilled in RCFA.
- Requires availability to travel, primarily to other USA facilities.
