A state-of-the-art automotive supplier that utilizes CNC machine based production cells for the manufacture of metal transmission components, in a clean
and air-conditioned facility. The company has long-term stable business, and its products
are unique and high-tech powertrain components.
This position will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities of our
manufacturing organization to obtain optimum efficiency and overall safety of operations
by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Takes appropriate measures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all
employees
• Work with supervisors to implement the company’s policies and goals
• Coordinates production, distribution and warehousing in accordance with policies,
principles, and procedures
• Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees
• Prepares and presents technical and program information to the management team
• Oversee production processes and keeps management team informed of any
significant issues or developments that may affect productivity, machine health or
part quality
• Ensure quality standards exist and are followed
• Acts as liaison between production, maintenance, quality and engineering
departments
• Ensures a robust training plan is developed and maintained for all production
employees
• Conduct employee meetings on a regular basis to communicate company, supplier
or customer information
• Responsible for the cleanliness of all manufacturing areas

Qualifications / Experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
• Agree to Employee Handbook
• Pass pre-employment screening (e.g., drug test, background check)
• Previous high-volume manufacturing experience
Education and/or Experience, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• A four-year college or university degree OR
• Five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
