We are looking for a Plant Controller to work for our client located in Louisville. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial accounting systems to ensure accurate recording and reporting of plant financial data
• Monitor plant expenditures and analyze variances to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard plant assets and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and identify areas for cost reduction or process improvement
• Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into plant performance
• Collaborate with management to analyze financial trends and forecast future financial performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Sound understanding of plant operations
• Ability to team with a variety of people to achieve business objectives
• Ability to be an effective driver of issues throughout the operation
• Thrives in a high-paced, dynamic environment
