Job Title: Plant Controller
Reports To: Sr. Vice President, Finance
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Puerto Rico
Be an active business partner with Plant Management as well as managing all accounting, legal, compliance & administrative functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the activities of manufacturing accounting for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements inventory management, annual audits and annual budgets.
Oversee the activities of the Disbursement Department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing and total corporate payroll tax and corporate compliance.
Assure all corporate compliance to guarantee the accurate and timely completion of all required compliance documents.
Establish and maintain systems and internal controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value.
Respond to Senior Vice President, Finance as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate financial needs.
Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports including preparing the annual Operating and Capital Budgets.
Present financial and operational statements including supporting documents to Plant Management so they can make informed business decisions.
Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year institution. Master’s Business Administration preferred.
CPA certification, preferred.
A minimum of five (5) years Manufacturing accounting related experience.
The ability to read, write and speak affluently in both English and Spanish.
Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Superior communication skills including the ability to: speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listen and obtain clarification, and respond well to questions.
The ability to lift files up to twenty five (25) pounds, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
The ability to use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
The ability to travel up to 10%.
