Full-time Plant Controller needed in the greater Reading, PA market.

Salary: $85K - $110K

Bonus: $10K - $15K

Annual Compensation: $95K - $125K

GENERAL PURPOSE

Directs overall accounting activities of a privately held manufacturing company. Administers financial reporting, analysis and implements accounting procedures and controls. Manage the day-to-day office operations and ensure compliance of all associated company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Directs overall financial plans and accounting practices for the company

· Manage and control overall cost of the company - Recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance

· Implement and maintain policies and procedures for production of documents, work flow records, maintenance and other clerical tasks

· Effectively conducts administrative job performance evaluations

· Consistently and fairly implement company procedures and policies

· Prepare and analyze monthly Financial Statements

· Coordinate and direct all journal entries, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, month-end closing transactions

· Prepare monthly Cost of Goods Sold analysis summary

· Manage cash flow on weekly basis

· Coordinate work with auditors to complete annual audit of financial records

· Ensures the fixed asset records are maintained in software and reconciled monthly to General Ledger

· Coordinate / Direct / Prepare annual budget and all supporting documents

· Coordinate / Direct all AR and AP transactions

· Insures accurate and timely processing of Quarterly Sales Tax Returns, Annual Personal Property Tax Returns, and Government reports

· Insures accurate and timely processing of all deposits, checks and wire transfers

· Complete special projects as needed
