Our client is a leading provider of private-label healthy snacks, committed to quality, community engagement, and fostering a positive work environment. We are looking for an experienced Plant Controller for a thriving 500 employee facility in southern Texas. The successful candidate will lead accounting operations at plant level, providing financial insights and partnering with plant leadership to drive performance. This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, product costing, capital expenditures, and financial reporting while mentoring junior accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Provide financial guidance to plant management.
✔️ Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial close processes.
✔️ Conduct variance and product costing analysis.
✔️ Ensure inventory accuracy and cost control.
✔️ Develop financial reporting and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
✔️ Lead and mentor plant finance staff.

Qualifications

✅ Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CMA/CPA a bonus)
✅ 7+ years of finance/accounting experience in manufacturing.
✅ Strong financial modeling, GAAP knowledge, and Excel skills.
✅ Experience with SAP (R/3, FICO, BI) preferred.
