Responsibilities

The Plant Assistant Quality Manager supports the Quality Manager in overseeing quality operations at the plant level, with a focus on system compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment:

• Support daily quality department operations and team leadership
• Maintain and improve quality systems in line with IATF 16949 standards
• Lead or support internal audits and corrective actions
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams to resolve quality concerns
• Serve as a customer-facing quality representative during audits, issues, or escalations
• Lead Core Tools activities such as PPAP, APQP, MSA, PFMEA, and Control Plans
• Assist in preparation for IATF certification or re-certification audits
• Other duties as assigned

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive quality systems, particularly IATF 16949
• Certified or strong candidate for IATF Internal Lead Auditor
• Experience with Core Tools: PPAP, APQP, MSA, PFMEA, and Control Plans
