Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney

We are looking for a dedicated Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to handle case evaluations, legal strategy implementation, and courtroom representation. This is a dynamic role requiring significant client interaction, rigorous legal research, and adept negotiation skills. Ideal candidates will bring a proactive attitude and a passion for delivering justice to individuals who have suffered due to negligence.

Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 per year plus compensation on cases originated

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial consultations with potential clients to evaluate the merits of their cases.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and the best strategies for successful outcomes.
  • Perform thorough investigations including reviewing accident reports, medical records, and engaging with witnesses to build robust cases.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies to secure favorable terms without the need for trial.
  • Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in court, handling all phases of trial from pre-trial hearings to verdicts, as well as mediations and arbitrations.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of their case status and developments.
  • Manage multiple case files simultaneously, ensuring all legal deadlines are met and cases progress efficiently.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in New York.
  • Proven experience in personal injury law on the plaintiff side.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with medical malpractice and worker's compensation cases.
