Physician and Provider Outreach Liaison

We are seeking a dedicated Physician and Provider Outreach Liaison to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art Health System in Amarillo, Texas. This pivotal role will focus on enhancing our service lines by building robust relationships with community healthcare providers and utilizing deep market insights and strategic outreach to drive engagement and growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in healthcare systems, capable of employing data-driven strategies to influence market share and improve service line outputs.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic business plans based on internal and external data for each service line, aligning with the company's strategic vision.
  • Regular travel to hospitals and facilities to educate and maintain relationships with community clinics and referring providers.
  • Ensure that primary and secondary service area providers are well-informed of the hospital and medical group's services.
  • Collaborate closely with hospital market leaders and service line leaders to apply market knowledge effectively and achieve PPRO goals.
  • Maintain continuous engagement with internal and external providers, medical group and hospital leadership, and community leaders to promote strategic goals.
  • Use a CRM tool to track activities, hospital financial goals, and other key performance indicators relevant to assigned service lines.
  • Enable strategic, data-informed decision-making processes and report growth plans to facility leadership.
  • Identify and foster business development opportunities to enhance market share and service delivery.
  • Analyze marketplace data and trends to strategically target new business opportunities.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5 years of demonstrated sales experience or a relevant work background.
  • 2 years of experience within a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare industry trends and economic challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Resident of Amarillo or familiar with the Amarillo healthcare landscape.
  • Experience with CRM tools and data analysis in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven track record of increasing healthcare market share and strategic planning.

  • Excellent strategic planning and business development skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and interpret business intelligence data.
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build rapport with key stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in handling CRM software and other reporting tools to track performance and inform business decisions.
