Position Overview

A respected Rural Health Clinic is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment. This provider will work closely with the Medical Director, delivering comprehensive care to a diverse patient population while practicing at the top of their license.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Salary Range: $138,000 – $195,000 annually (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages (acute, chronic, and preventive care)
  • Perform detailed histories, physical exams, and clinical assessments
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop and implement treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director under delegation agreements or standardized procedures (per California law)
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the EHR
  • Educate patients on disease management, prevention, and wellness
  • Participate in clinic policy development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and optimal outcomes
  • Maintain Medical Staff privileges and participate in staff functions

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Active California PA or NP license
  • Current DEA registration
  • BLS certification required ACLS/PALS preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to culturally competent, patient-centered care
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
