Physical Therapist

FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY - 4/10'S
$80,000+ DOE
Job Duties:
• Assumes responsibility for continued professional growth and development, by participating in continuing education programs and other appropriate learning experiences consistent with the focus and goals of our center.
• Administers physical therapy services in accordance with the Arizona Physical Therapy Practice Act, Scope of Practice, Code of Ethics, and expectations of our center
• Assigns, delegates, and supervises tasks to support staff.
• Participates in the development and implementation of programs and services.
• Performs other related duties as designated.
• Participates in community activities, marketing, and program development.
Inter Relationships:
• Directly supervised by the Clinical Director of our center In the absence of a local Clinical Director, Executive Director and/or The Office Manager will be your “go-to” teammate.
• Positions supervised: ancillary station, physical therapy students, physical therapy assistants in accordance with the Arizona Practice Act.
Records and Reports: To be responsible for the preparation and submission of reports while assuring confidentiality of all records including;
• Evaluation reports and summaries.
• Discharge reports and summaries.
• Progress reports to referring physicians and agencies.
• Special reports as requested by the facility.
• Timeliness of reports must follow Practice Act Guidelines, facility guidelines, payor guidelines, and guidelines set for participation in private practice networks.
• Perform monthly chart audits using the PTPN audit form and report to appropriate physical therapists for educational growth.
Qualifications:
• Arizona State Licensure as a physical therapist
• Doctoral degree or residency program completion from accredited physical therapy program
• In good standing with the Arizona Board of Physical Therapy Licensure
• Proficient in typing and computer skills
• Current CPR
