Salary: $83,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents' conditions and develop comprehensive physical rehabilitation plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and relieve pain through exercises, manual therapy, and other techniques.
• Educate and guide residents on the correct use of therapy equipment.
• Monitor residents' progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Ensure confidentiality and protect facility operations by adhering to privacy regulations.
• Supervise activities of physical therapy assistants and oversee the compliance with therapy protocols.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary team efforts by collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• Current New York State PT License.
• Ability to handle physical workload and perform physical therapy tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt therapy plans based on resident feedback and changing conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with a diverse group of residents and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings.
• Demonstrated history of successful patient outcomes in physical therapy.
• Additional certifications in physical therapy specialties.
