Salary: $82,344 - $110,592 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions, plan treatment programs, and implement physical therapy interventions.
- Provide direct patient care using specialized techniques for rehabilitation.
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to patient needs across diverse diagnoses.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and assess treatment regimens.
- Participate in patient and family education regarding therapies and treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports complying with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.
- Access and utilize cutting-edge technology and resources like EPIC EMR for efficient management of patient information.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current Ohio Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Experience from at least one clinical rotation in a variety of settings such as Acute Rehab, SNF, or Outpatient facilities.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certifications or specializations in physical therapy practices are highly regarded.
- Experience in a hospital setting is preferable but not required.
- Demonstrated leadership in professional or academic settings.
- Prior experience with EMR systems, particularly EPIC, is beneficial.
- Proven track record of improving patient mobility and quality of life through effective treatment plans.
