Job Description

Physical Therapist – Confidential Rural Hospital Opportunity

Northern California Full-Time
Exceptional Compensation + Sign-On + Relocation + Temporary Housing

A highly unique and career-defining opportunity is available for an experienced or highly confident Physical Therapist seeking autonomy, purpose, and the ability to make a visible impact every day.

We are partnering with a small, highly respected rural healthcare facility in Northern California to identify a Physical Therapist for a rare standalone role supporting the full continuum of therapy services.

For the right clinician, this role offers exceptional professional independence, strong leadership visibility, and the chance to truly shape patient outcomes in a close-knit rural community.

Why This Opportunity Is Different

This position offers a level of autonomy that is rarely found in today’s healthcare market.

You will be the primary therapy provider, trusted to oversee evaluations, treatment planning, rehabilitation progression, and patient mobility across multiple care settings.

This is an ideal opportunity for a PT who thrives in an environment where clinical judgment is valued and your work directly impacts the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments
  • Manage care across acute inpatient and post-acute rehabilitation settings
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Support mobility, strength, gait, balance, and functional recovery
  • Collaborate directly with physicians, nursing, and leadership
  • Provide patient and family education
  • Maintain documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Help develop and optimize therapy workflows and best practices

What Makes This Special

  • rare autonomous PT leadership opportunity
  • exceptional salary package
  • sign-on bonus
  • relocation assistance
  • temporary housing available
  • gorgeous rural Northern California setting
  • meaningful work in a highly community-centered environment

This is a rare opportunity for the right Physical Therapist who wants more than just a job — it is a chance to take ownership of a program and build something meaningful.
